How secure is my information with TrustedID?
You can rest assured that TrustedID will keep your information safe and secure. TrustedID's privacy policy exceeds the industry standards required by congressional legislation. This includes, but is not limited to:
- PCI compliance audits – requires networks must pass tests that probe all of the known methods hackers use to access private information, in addition vulnerabilities that would allow malicious software (i.e. viruses and worms) to gain access to or disrupt the network devices being tested.
- Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Modernization Act – requires financial institutions to provide customers with the ability to "opt-out" of information sharing. TrustedID is the only company that exceeds this policy by never renting or selling your Personal Information to anyone!
- Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology is used to encrypt information that you enter on the TrustedID Web site.
- All TrustedID employees are required to undergo thorough background checks.
